Catch - Up

Today it is very important that you have completed all the tasks fully  up to this point.   The next few days are going to be rather fast and furious so take to day to complete any open phrases, dot any i's and j's, etc.

If you are already complete with everything.

Check out iTunesU.  There is a seemingly endless amount of knowledge to be found.  So find some.  Find a topic that you have always wanted to know a bit more about and listen to a lesson.

Stylin' and Profilin'

Today, you have to put together one fantastic outfit.  Think style, think looks.  Out of all the clothes you already own, you have to make one 'the best'.

Don't know what flies right now?

Connection in an Isolating Age

Changing gears for just a bit, in case you didn't make it to the goodwill drop off, all today is, is a few words.  Easy enough.  Just send a letter to an old friend, someone you haven't talked to in a long while.  In today's world, especially with applications like facebook, it's so easy to loose communication with people and still have the feeling of being in touch.  Send an letter just saying Hi.  Ask about them, tell them about you.  Bonus points for a hand written letter.

Manual Work

SURPRISE! You don't get the whole weekend off; not at all. AND, this is a two parter.

Part 1:

Today you have to find five things to give away to Goodwill. Find the best, the most important, and the most unused items, but remember, you can only give away five things.  THAT'S IT!  No more than five or you are disqualified.  So make them count.

Here's a list of items they accept:

http://www.giveit2goodwill.org/donations

Part 2:

Donate them.  Of course I realize this is actually a bit more active in the community.  If you have time constraints of what have you, there is tomorrow, but as soon as possible, donate them.

Here is the closest donation center

1301 Wilson Pk
Brentwood, TN 37027

The hours are posted at as 9-6 Mon-Sun.  You might want to hold off until Monday to make sure someone is there.

The most important part of this trip is to get a reciept for the total of goods reciept.  IMPORTANT: make sure you get a reciept.
If this is not possible, assess the good you are giving or have mom or dad help you to assess them.

Easy Peasy Japanesey

YAY!  It's the weekend, a time to kick back and relex.  OR - Prepare for the week to come.

Today you are going to give as much food as you want to animal shelters across America, and you don't even have to match words or figure out math problems.

Check out this link:

www.theanimalrescuesite.com

Once you are there, you are one click away (literally) from donating food.

Once you complete your mission, maybe click on one of the advertisers sites, just to pass on the goodwill.  Every click registers on the advertisers site, you don't have to buy or donate anything for it to count, and keep them donating.

Romance

Today you are to make a list of romantic things.  It's simple.  Below is a list of categories and for each category you are to write in five romantic replies.

Here we go:

Items in a Mall
Items in a Grocery Store
Places to visit during the day
Places to visit during the night
Things that are cheap
Things that are expensive
Things that are costly (not the same as expensive)
Local
Global

That is it.  Do that today.  Make sure you make each very real and specific.

How are you doing?

The last daily-do was a helping hand to those in need; today's is a rough estimate of your less positive impact on the world.  Today you are going to assess of you carbon footprint.  This is only to be used a a broad estimate of you specific actions, but it's a start.

Check out: www.myfootprint.org

*Just so you know, most people that worry about their carbon footprint and take steps to address it are already doing more than the majority of the world.  This is a positive thing.
